Celebrate the wonders of the animal kingdom with hands-on animal-themed art activities and a barnyard petting zoo.* Immerse yourself in a day filled with excitement, learning, and artistic inspiration,all dedicated to our love for animals. Don’t miss your opportunity to explore the Art Maze for free! Plus, celebrate the unveiling of one of Westmoreland County’s America250PA commemorative bells.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES (10am– 3pm)
- Food Trucks: Purchase something tasty from local food vendors.
- A-MAZE-D Animal Search: Explore the interactive Art Maze for FREE, and discover animal-inspired surprises and creative challenges along the way.
- Book Signing: Meet Audra Azoury, jewelry designer and author of I am More Than “Just” a Weed.
- Community Information Tables: Explore resources, programs, and opportunities from local organizations.
- Drop-In Art Activities: Visit these community partner tables and get hands-on with a variety of engaging activities for all ages:
- Penn State Master Gardeners of Westmoreland County: Learn about the importance of pollination and make your own bee-themed craft.
- Pennsylvania Master Naturalist: Make your very own whimsical moth, then return throughout the day to see it take the stage in a charming Moth Puppet Show!
- Penguin Court: Discover animals native to Pennsylvania and create your own animal tracker booklet to take home.
- Petagogy: Craft a pet-themed project and decorate a pot for cat grass.

- A petting zoo experience for guests of all ages, offering the chance to get up close with a variety of friendly farm animal

- Celebrate the unveiling of one of Westmoreland County’s America250PA commemorative bells as we honor both history and community.
- 11am-3pm | Meet Homer the Pigeon
- Say hello to Homer, a real-life pigeon in pigeon pants! Snap a photo and learn fun facts about our feathered friend
- 11am-3pm | Pet-Catures with Denise Kubina
- Enjoy a creative twist on traditional caricatures! Whether you bring a pet photo or draw from imagination, walk away with a charming pet-themed portrait by a live caricature artist.
*Please note that petting zoo activity will not take place under inclement weather conditions.
